The Labcold penguin braved the humidity to visit Tiananmen Square in the centre of Beijing. It is named after the Tiananmen gate, separating it from the Forbidden City. It is the fourth largest square in the world and has been the site of several events in Chinese history. The Tiananmen Gate to the Forbidden City was built in 1415 during the Ming Dynasty it has since been enlarged four times its original size in the 1950s.
