The IntelliBlood® Blood Bank model IBB-RSBG1032MD provides secure storage for up to 30 x 250ml blood bags and forms part of Labcold’s newest Blood Bank range, launching February 2026. With over 40 years’ experience supplying blood banks to hospitals, clinics and the UK military, Labcold is also an approved supplier on the NHS Supply Chain for Pathology Fridges and Freezers.
Designed for the reliable preservation of pre-cooled blood, the unit maintains stable storage temperatures of +2 °C to +6 °C. A stainless-steel interior with adjustable shelves and clear inner doors helps maintain consistent temperatures during door openings, while allowing quick visual stock checks through the glass outer door. A digital keypad lock ensures controlled, authorised access.
At the core of the system is the Labcold Alarm Monitor, providing traffic-light status indication, immediate alerts and individual user activity tracking for audit confidence. A new Digital Chart Recorder independently logs temperatures and door activity, with the ability to add notes for clear, contextual records. A 200ml simulated load probe is supplied as standard to ensure accurate product temperature monitoring.
